Is uber reliable on the island? We plan to be there for Friday and Shabbos and don't think it's worth renting a car.

i can reserve online but they only have 2 tickets together at 230. might be cutting it close to shabbos. if they have 1 ticket @11 and 1 @12, do you think they would let us go together?

At HNL, between the IASS Hawaii Lounge and the Japan Airlines Sakura Lounge, which is better/nicer for a family of four (two small kids) traveling on Hawaiian Airlines? I have free access to both.

Also, anyone know of a light-tackle fishing charter on west-side Oahu?

Don't know about the JAL lounge, but the IASS is kind of a joke.

I have a flight from Ogg-Ewr on ua that connects in hnl. First flight is Hawaiian from Ogg-hnl it arrives hnl at 8.45 and it's a 6 hr stop. Flight to Ewr is 245. Is that enough time to comfortably do Pearl Harbor (I have an 18 month old if that makes a difference)? And will Hawaiian be able to check my bags all the way through to Ewr?

It is pretty close to airport. you can spend as much or as little time as you want there. Definitely recommend going to the arizona

In case anyone is interested, Outrigger Hotels is having a Memorial Day sale using the code INSPIRE and you can get a good deal on the Ala Moana in Honolulu (assuming you want to stay next door to Chabad).

I think most would agree that Pearl Harbor is a good place to visit if you have never been there before. We spent an entire day at Pearl.

What r their hours? ( I noticed ppl saying u have to get there early) cuz I have a mid-afternoon to early morning stopover

you can get there later if you reserve tickets for the arizona memorial. It's right near the airport

They do tickets 2 months in advance, 1 day before, and walk-up. The 2 month in advance go quickly, but I had luck on the day-before reservation. If you can't get anything, its unlikely you'd get walk up past 9am.

Looking to pay around $100 per person.
Are any of the companies on Groupon good?
Is Ocean Legends any good?

If we have not yet gone Snorkeling, are we better off doing that?
