The Oahu Kosher website has the following message:

"Oahu Kosher's hot food delivery service is on hiatus.
If you would like to order Kosher products or Challah, please email info@oahukosher.com.

Does anyone know what is going on with Oahu Kosher and if they will start offering food again soon?  Any other options for take out or delivery of food in Oahu?

Going to be in Honolulu for shabbos in February. Any shabbos friendly hotels close to the Chabad house, that would open the door for me on Friday night, and that would let me check out on shabbos, and pick up my suitcase after shabbos? Looking at the Hilton double tree (closest to Chabad) but not sure if they will do all that.
Any suggestions?

Going to Hawaii for 5 nights with Wife. Staying in Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach. Never really planned a trip before.

Does anyone have a real information regarding the chef of the restaurant being the one giving supervision? Is he not accountable to anyone?

I have no first hand knowledge, but the Chabad website claims that the restaurant is under Chabad hashgacha. Only the private Oahu Kosher seems to be under chef/owner self hashgacha.

Speak to a LOR or Kashrus advisor. My research and discussion with those in Kasrush and Vaad work came out to show that the Chabad hashgacha is less reliable than the private chef/self-hashgacha. I.e., the chef is very erlich and is constantly asking a mashgiach questions etc.

I appreciate this information.
The downside of the private place is that he practically does not have a hechsher, and we should only be buying food from a place with a hachsher

No difference. That's why it's a problem
The other place could be considered a separate entity that has hashgacha from the chabad rabbi. That means that the workers over there are accountable to someone
