I called the automatic system and it gave me the worst rate out of all the places I checked so far for hk-usd. Maybe he’s better for other currencies.  My gut feeling is that there’s a bank that wouldn’t charge anything or maybe just 1% if I deposit the money on the bank or something.

I love the name, and the image on the website, but I too called the system and the rate isn't attractive at all (didn't check anywhere else yet, I have a small amount of GBP currency, was thinking of just exchanging with someone who might be here for YT at spot rate).

Actually I just spoke to a rep there and they give better exchange rates then the automatic system. Still not favorable for hk dollars but he told me he gives better rates for more common currencies.

This seems to work for making payments in other currencies.
