Was just going to ask about this. It's not an insurance, I forgot what he called it.
He explained that it's a pot of millions of people that come together, each one pays a monthly fee and with that money they pay the medial claims of each one. He says that in the 10 years in business (I think he said 10) they have never missed a claim. The sliver plan pays 70% of up to 125k per claim, gold plan pays 100% up to 125k per claim and the platinum plan pays 100% upto 1mil per claim.
He also claims that most dr in Lakewood bill this "insurance" directly and supposedly since so many people in Lakewood signed up he imagines all Drs will start to bill directly. Even if they don't then it's just a simple paperwork claim process that you need to fill out. There are no networks and any dr can be used. (Not sure about dentist and eye dr or what exclusions there is)

I'm very skeptical and to me it Sounds similar to an mlm, this guy said all he's doing is giving out referrals to this company, you call him give him your info and then this "Insurance company" calls you with the details.
If anyone has any clearer info about this thing I would love to be enlightened!
Don't know the name of the actual "insurance company" as I'm awaiting a call from them, I'll update once I have it.

Is it considered like having insurance for taxes?
Also, what's stopping them from denying a claim

He claims its exempt from Obama care, meaning it's considered insurance.
Not sure what's stopping them!
I'm waiting for more info. Please do your own research as well and we'll see what we come out with

Can someone post the official legal doc or contract?
I'm sure it has more holes than a seive. - even if not, an insurance policy is always only as reliable as the company providing the insurance.

whole thing sounds like a scheme with no way to protect yourself....

My guess is that this is structured like a "health care sharing ministry". I've thought about the viability of setting up something like this for the Jewish community, but IIRC I came to a מסקנא that it would probably not be doable. If it would be doable, it would have to be sponsored by a major organization like Aguda. As far as I could find out so far, any existing such plan involves being a member of some kind of religious organization וד"ל.

Theres radio ads everyday for "biblical healthcare .... its not insurance. ...its where millions of believers share each others medical bills .... and you beer have to pay for practices you dont believe in..."
