I like Moti's on James (near Cross). For $45 he does a full checkup and will recommend what is worth fixing and what is not etc. He has sometimes told me not to have work done and to go to the dealer instead to get it covered by warranty (which no other mechanic has ever told me.... )

Not to take away from Moti, and I haven't lived in Lakewood for a while, but I was told the same by Lipa's and by Sruly. No need to put down everyone else when making a recommendation.
