Idk, but don't u need contact access if letsay u have an option to share thru messaging?

Just took the same screenshot to post here...its also needed for caller ID which IINM uses a temp contact to display it...

Export doesn't mean havesting. It means when you export a listing to save into your contacts... It needs access

On a truck. You can get a temporary registration, but dunno how much it costs.
Or if you have a friend who's a dealer he can slap plates on it and drive it for you.

Lakewood Auto Sales wouldn't let me do that. That's not to say others wouldn't either.

If you really want to follow the law, check if that's only valid while you're in Texas. IIRC there's another state that's like that.
