Author Topic: Lakewood NJ Master Thread (Read 4395978 times)

FS: 2009 Elantra SE. In Lakewood. Purchased new with "cash for clunkers" program almost 9 years ago. Very well maintained: all oil changes regularly at Lester Glenn Hyundai in Toms River, & maintained by Ventus. Very clean interior, no bad old car smell. Had 3 car seats in the back most of the time, some bottles seem to have spilled so not perfect but still excellent. Regular yeshivisha scratches and dents from local parking lots. Low miles (just under 45,000) from mostly being for my wife to get to work and take kids to babysitter. I got a new car and don't want to keep an extra car around, but על פי טבע it shouldn't need anything for a long time. Just replaced the timing belt and water pump ($600 job). Easy to drive, really drives like new and feels weird to get rid of but I would rather have the cash at this point. $6750.

Anyone know of a decently priced photographer in lkwd. Just want a few professional shots of my kid. thanks

Does anyone know of a good exterminator? Dealing with a bunch of flies that are popping up from seemingly nowhere. Sprayed up the whole place a couple of times, and the next day I basically find a whole bunch of half dead flies on my steps. Every day this repeats itself. There's one are where all of a sudden they appear, and most of them are dead, and some of them die later.

Lowes has cardboard boxes, or you can buy from any supermarket.

If you want Rubbermaid type boxes, there's a Gemach, but I don't have the number now.

For adults or kids?

I took my kids to the Crayola Experience in Easton, PA. Open 365 days a year (I think). Activities for kids 3 and up. Cost around $20 a kid. They had a blast. Stopped on the way home for supper at Round Valley Recreation Area in Lebanon, NJ (grilling allowed), approximately 30 minutes away from Crayola (on the way back to Lakewood).

Reviews say there are long lines. I went on a Sunday and didn't have any long lines.

We went boating at Greenwood Lake. Close to Monsey. Took out a pontoon for 3 hours had a great time.
