There’s a frum guy on my block who does power washing, gutter cleaning etc. We just used him and were satisfied with his work, plus he’s relatively inexpensive. I’m pretty sure he does roofs as well. PM me for his contact info.

He also plugged a leak in our roof

I think they get their simchos from another outlet, with permission. But overall, the way I contact Hefkervelt is by leaving a comment and specifying "Don't post comment."

Does anyone know how I would find out the going rate for a summer rental on a house? I would like to rent mine out over the summer but I dont know where to start in ascertaining the proper ballpark.

Anyway where from 10-30k depending on accommodations.

Any local businesses that convert VCR tapes to DVD or USB?

I have a damaged tape, so I don't want to use the big box services like Costco (who already rejected it). I'm hoping that a local guy could help me get the tape fixed and transferred.

does anybody have any thoughts/experience if renting a basement(2 bedroom furnished) in development(south side) on a shabbos/weekly basis may be more profitable than the standard 1-2 year lease?
what are the going rates for shabbos or daily basis?

I think my issue can be fixed by switching the tape reel to another tape frame. It's something I've done numerous times with cassettes, but I have zero experience with VCRs. I think a local expert would do this for cheaper.

Also, Legacy Box says that they have a 10-12 week turnover. I don't want to go through the whole process only to learn that they can't convert my tape.
