Once upon a time I went by parking near the ferry. Was very convenient!

I don't think you can get a ferry back at that time though. This is also the most expensive option.

Not talking about the one from Atlantic highlands but rather from one of the jersey city locations of NY waterways. At the time it was the same price as the path.

If you are willing to make some transfers to avoid traffic I find that the quickest way to get downtown is to drive to the Liberty Park & Ride (next to Liberty Science Center) and take the Light Rail from there to the PATH stop at Exchange Place. It's one stop on the PATH to WTC.

Another benefit of doing this is that you can take any PATH back from WTC as they all pass through Exchange place before diverging -- be aware that PATH trains run less frequently not during rush hour.

@1234567 thanks for the excellent idea. Went very smoothly; left Lakewood at 7:20 and was in Manhattan just after 9. Way back was really fast, though I had to wait about 10 minutes for the PATH to leave WTC.

Waze for some reason told me to take the Trucks/Cars/Buses lane of the Turnpike which I listened to, and seems to have been a mistake. But why are there so many carpool lane violators? Do they not enforce it or some COVID excuse?

Ok I thought u noticed it on your way home (not rush hour). Idk on the turnpike I always use the hov but in Staten Island I wouldn’t dare.

Just got the sterns and foster Cassatt plush euro pillowtop and DW got the firm pillowtop. These mattresses are amazing!! We got an amazing deal from Urban Beds, a local (Lakewood) Jewish owned store. We paid $1,500 (cash  ) each including a nice base. He was way cheaper than any of the other Jewish stores. We ordered them before pesach when they had a sale so it may be a little more now…
