Any recommendations for a handyman or electrician to install this for a reasonable fee? I imagine it’s a good couple of hours of work at least…

If you're replacing an existing fixture and the wiring is there, and if this new one isn't too heavy so the existing box can hold the new one, then it might not be difficult at all

Reviews talk about anywhere from 1.5 to over 3 hours for the install, mostly hanging the crystals. Also it’s a heavy piece and takes two to hold in place and do the install.  I guess I could try to do myself with one of my kids- I’ve done most of my own fixtures- but feel a bit daunted by this. OTOH to pay $350-$400 to have someone do it…

If the box in the ceiling can handle it then you hang the fixture before hanging the crystals and it's tedious but doesn't sound difficult for someone who's hung fixtures before

You can try Aaron 443 966-4870. I’ve used him for handy work around house including hanging fixtures.

Unless you already had a chandelier there is a good chance the box isn't meant to hold the weight. You can hire someone to install the fixture and hang the crystals yourself, that would lower the cost.

That is a very inefficient way to get there. It's right by the Thruway at exit 21, so anyone going to or past exit 21 can stop there. That includes Camp Achim, The Zone, Albany, Lake George, and I'm sure many other destinations.

Interestingly, I just went to the place on 2nd and Monmouth/Park for the first time (because they are open until midnight) and I found them to be really cheap. I assumed that a place that is open late probably charges more, but they charged only $60 for a synthetic change IIRC.

Yup, like $30 for regular $60 for synthetic. +$10 for tire rotation.
