I bought 5 dozen eggs at Costco on Sunday for $13.99 ($2.80/dozen) with expiration date in mid-October. So you should be able to stock up now already for Yom Tov.

Trying to find a high quality shofer. I've been through the stock of the Judaica stores. Any one knows of a private shofer dealer (does that even exist?)

It's worth it to go to a good one. Experienced dealers can "fit" you... how you blow, how you form your lips... to a shofar that will fit you better.
Different bore hole sizes, mouthpiece shapes...
I went to one last year, (after my after birth wife missed hearing the year before, I decided that I must have a shofar - I know how to blow, my father and grandfather are/were baalei Tokeia...I have no excuse).
I ended up spending about double what I was planning (about 1400 shekel, I assume it would cost more in the US) - but I got a shofar that I can just pick up and blow, no "finding the right spot..."

pretty sure everyone in my neighborhood has this. Call them up. Tell them xfinity is offering you $30/mo for 300mb and if they can match….will make an offer

I see on their app they have for 35 if take advantage of discounts (mobile, paperless, autopay)

Yes and just tell them right from the beginning straight out I want a lower rate. No need to beat around the bush. You'll likely get a "retention" discount.
