I knew a few campers. They seemed to love it. All affluent but not really snobby.

i went like 10 years ago lol prob a little different. A big thing to keep in mind that the group of kids going that year makes the experience. The program is great and all but if there are a bunch of troublemakers then the whole summer is not going to be relaxing and the staff won't be able to the group just have a little space and soak it in without having someone down your back

Not sure.

Depends on the chinuch. The kids I know had a really solid upbringing and understood that their affluence came about from their father’s hard work and good decisions.

Depends what you call modern. The guys I know wore hats/jackets most of the time and ended up in the Mir, but wore shorts and other things that are very not in style in Lakewood.

I have an Ashley recliner chair purchased at Costco around 10 years ago. The mechanism that lets it recline snapped. Is there anyone in Lakewood who would repair such a thing? thanks.

Nope. Up to the warehouse. Called them and they said 9 years is after reasonable return time so they wouldn’t take it back.

Had a great time at Doodle Farms yesterday. They're in Howell, about 5-10 minutes away from Squankum & Kennedy.

It's not very big, but a great way to entertain the kids for an hour or two and not kill the whole day. They've got assorted farm animals, a corn sandbox, and a rabbit enclosure where the kids can actually play with and pet the rabbits.

Admission is $8/pp or $6/pp for Rebbe/Kollel/Morah families. Under 2 is free. They take credit cards.

Just sharing a great experience, no affiliation or compensation involved. Highly recommend if you're looking for a local, low-key outing with the kids.
