It could be I am wrong.  It is funny, it may all just be POV.  I am not that old, but most of my chevra are holding by more kids - 5+.  Maybe you are younger, and are looking at it from your POV?

They're saying that its a majority of residents are Jewish.
Are the majority of people who actually cast votes also Jewish?

I have no source, but I'd assume so.  Probably less of a margin, but still a majority.

I did not read the article, but that sounds low.  Again, one P-8 school alone has 5k+.

This argument is really out of hand, since the question was halachik, and it could be that a "Ir" is "lav davka" the huge amount of property that lakewood really is. It could be defined a lot smaller, and for-sure be majority Jewish.

Is Lakewood township classified as an ihr sherubo yisrael?
