Wow. Alot of speculators here.
If you would know the operating agreement between gas station and delta, you would realize why the fire wouldn't have had anything to do with changing names.

The gas station part is leased out.
The fire had nothing to do with the gas station.

I don't know the reason they changed names, but I heard that it was too much money to keep the "brand name", so thry switched brands.

There was never a good time to change the signs bec the lot is always busy.
After the fire, it was closed, so they were able to change the signs.

Hi All,

I just got the courage to finally register after reading on the sidelines.

I was wondering if anyone here is joining the Monoc EMT course immediately after Pesach? I am looking for a Chavrusah.

If you or anyone else is interested please PM me. I am in contact with the organisers about accommodating the frum community as it's scheduled to begin on Pesach, they want me to put together a lost of people who would join if they accommodate the community.

lakewoods sales are more expensive then standard prices in krm (kollel store)

People who get 8-9 hundred bucks a month in FS don't care for prices. Basic economics say that this should lead to inflated prices.

100%. Ever notice how some stores charge more for large eggs than for extra large? That's because Wic covers large eggs so a lot of people are buying those with WIC and don't care about the price. Everyone else is happy to buy extra large for cheaper...

There isn't a way, bec it's specifically for food. No paper goods, no gc's, etc.

Which brings us back to the question - why is paper goods more expensive here?

Some are saying that KRM gets cheaper wholesale pricing and therefore can afford to be cheaper. Let them come to Lakewood already, and lets see them offer BP prices. And while we are at it, let gourmet glatt come as well.
