I would like to publicly be makir tov to the owners of His Place.

I have worn the same shoes every day (Shabbos, YT, weekday) for around two years.

There are some places in town that have a same day only return policy. My wife has had to run home and try it on my kid and then race back to the store before 5:00 so she can return it in time.

Same in brooklyn. Although once a guy went on a rant in the store in front of everybody so they just refunded.

True,  but for the average person,  that's very inconvenient. 

Most people won't end up following through with an amex claim.  DDf'ers are a different story.

You didn't know what a credit card was -  and if you did,  you definitely didn't know about the benefits.  (now try to pictures the average Lakewooder in your previous shoes)

In the store that I'm talking about there were signs everywhere saying returns only till 5 for money back. They said because that's when they go to the bank.... bla bla. and no credit card returns because of fees....
Not really sure what's so complicated about keeping track of money that once it goes to the bank it stays....
It was really hard not to loose myself but there were signs everywhere, doubt you would win a dispute.

Then they wonder why people don't like paying $40 for an Adonis shirt that's non returnable,  and instead go elsewhere and get for $29.95 with 6 months return....

True, but then you have the people who will wear the clothes for a week and then decide to return.
