I wholeheartedly reject the entire premise of your statement. If the criteria for the kashrus itself (as opposed to a political decision to not approve an otherwise kosher establishment) are not just emes and halacha that will always go in both directions. That is my personal experience with YS as well and based upon that experience I would not touch food under his hechsher.

I understand that all hechsherim have politics involved, but the politics are not always a part of the halachic process. The more it gets involved in that aspect the more kshrus itself will be affected in both directions. There is no hechesher with politics more involved in the halachic process than his.

I pay a co-pay of $35 for all tier 1 specialists and $75 for tier 2 specialists.
They have this on many of the cheaper plans as a way to keep costs down, they negotiate a better deal with select doctors but have many others to allow more overall choice.
I believe this system is on many silver plans, the bronze plans (cheapest) make you pay everything by specialists until you reach your annual out of pocket limit.
