Now that Gourmet Glatt is getting much closer to opening, does anyone want to work on creating a thread where we can track Gourmet Glatt prices in Boro Park vs Gourmet Glatt prices in Lakewood on the very same identical items? We know that in Boro Park, they are forced to keep their prices somewhat lower, as well as to have very cheap sale prices, because they have KRM down the block from them. Here in Lakewood they may not want to do so. So lets try to keep tabs on them once they open, if it in any way in can keep them honest with their pricing.

It would need to be a thread where we match up the exact items on the very same day. Both Regular items, as well as sale items. Of course we would need volunteers to help us out both in Boro Park and Lakewood.

I hope I am pleasantly surprised with a clean, organized store, with items that have actual prices on them and normal customer service. If they can pull this off, they would not need to compete on price at all.

If we apply pressure, and they are constantly hearing from people asking them why they are so much more expensive that bp, then it might help.
If someone comes up to a manager and asks why the same bag of beans is 30 cents more in Lakewood, how will they be able to answer that? The boro park store, is a nice store just like the lakewood store, and I'm sure rent there is a pretty penny in bp.
