In the name of the Lakewood TWP we would like to thank the Lakewood mayor and councilman who put all their time and effort into making the video where they threaten to fire most of the DPW. We really feel that by making this video they are helping to solve the crisis of all the people who are stuck in their home till someone comes to dig them out. Just one or 2 more videos and we will all be on our way to work.

They hired sub-contracters this morning. But it looks like those guys all but stopped when every other guy in Lakewood decided that they would be able to make it to their destination today. You know, you can't plow when there are cars in middle of every street.

All the towns surrounding Lakewood were fine.

Barely a plow on the road from Friday night, and not a soul was driving.
Public schools have dozens of plows circling nonstop since Saturday morning while a block away we haven't seen a plow.

Just last night they were patting themselves on the back on such a great job, so oblivious and disconnected from reality.
I think next year they will toughen up on their camera crew and force them to post HD videos with a great amount of focus on post-production.

There were some storms that they generally did a nice job, workers showed up and continued plowing through the storm.
Workers not showing up seems like some sort of organized scandal.
Also the quick change of attitude in the TLS videos is shocking. First few during storm they seem so enthusiastic about the seem less coordination between organizations and dpw. If workers didn't show up then they knew that at the time of shooting the video. Which makes me think that our wonderful mayor tried covering it up. Then when he started drowning in snow he went ape and decided to place blame.
