Singin does not fill all the way either-only a little more than the refills. The refills base on weight and singin measures volume.
Was just there the other day and they are supposed to put in 4 gallons. Meter started on 11 and he stopped at 14. I said that's only three, and he said what do you mean 11, 12, 13, and 14 is 4. After a few rounds of convincing he agreed to put in another gallon but didn't look convinced that I was right.

I was just in the Marcy's Shopping Center and stumbled upon the Art Gallery there. I've never seen such beautiful Jewish Art in my life. It's very high end and was out of my league pricewise. But Wow! I never before in my life wanted to buy art until now.

what's the price range?

Was some kind of meeting for an Mlm energy company. I belive ACN American communications network.
Do any of these actually make sense from a consumer stand point? Not talking about becoming a leader..

Only if there is someone who really understands the market who will be on top of it. Uncommon with the MLMs (understanding the market and MLMs are mostly mutually exclusive with very few exceptions)

Even then...
For residential-rarely.
For commercial-if done right it can make A LOT of sense and save a lot of money. If done wrong it can be very costly.

Here is a letter written to the Voice a while back. Nothing mind-blowing, just a basic understanding for the uninitiated about the scams of multi-level marketing. Just posting it here in case it can help anyone.

Quote
Dear the Voice of Lakewood,

Living in this great city of Lakewood, we benefit from a certain isolation that helps us best live a Torah lifestyle. The downside, however, is that we can sometimes fall prey to schemes or tactics that have already been exposed on the outside world. I am writing this letter to shed some light on what seems to be a growing trend in Lakewood, and I would like to show that its reality is far less rosy than what the eye perceives.

Rarely a week goes by when there’s not a new sign on BMG’s bulletin board that looks something like this: AMAZING OPPORTUNITY! Switch to ------------ utility company and save! Then sign up just 15 people to do the same and you’ll get your utilities for absolutely FREE! (I don’t want to specify the details of the company.)

People tend to drink it in, assuming, only fifteen people, what’s the big deal? I could probably do that. And they pick up the phone and get on board. You’re probably thinking, what can be wrong with that? A lot!

This type of business model is called “multi-level marketing”. It’s been around for some time now, and while it may work for a few lucky individuals, it will fail the vast majority of its participants. (This is even if the utility is indeed cheaper, which is a separate discussion, and anyone considering switching should do their own research.) A quick look at the actual numbers will reveal just where multi-level marketing leaves you.

Let’s say, for example, that the person recruiting you is a second stage recruiter, meaning that they were recruited by someone who was recruited directly by the company. They’re asking you to recruit 15 people, who each will in turn recruit 15 more people. Let’s figure out how many people have to be recruited. If the company recruited only 15 people, and they each recruited 15 “second stage” recruiters, than there are 225 second stage recruiters. If they all recruited people like you, who is a third stage recruiter, then there will be 3374 other third stage recruiters also vying to recruit alongside you. Even if you do manage to recruit 15 forth stage recruiters, they will be vying against 50,610 other forth stage recruiters trying to recruit a whopping 759,375 recruiters. How many Frum households are there in Lakewood? Maybe ten or twenty thousand? Not enough for even you third stage recruiters to all fill your quota. Even if everyone expands their recruiting to outside of Lakewood, the system is not really sustainable past the fourth or fifth stage, without a vast majority of recruiters falling to the wayside. When you calculate the numbers, the vulnerability of this model is indisputable.

Allow me to portray this through another example. There was an email going around Lakewood a few months ago that read as follows: Fun Book Exchange! Check this out! This book exchange is adorable! Are you in? Here’s how it works: 1) Send out ONE book to child #1 listed below. 2) Remove the child’s name from #1, then move child #2 to that spot. 3) Then add your child’s name to #2 with your info. 4) Then send this email to 6 mothers with the updated name info. Soon your child should receive 36 books! What a deal! 36 books for giving just one!  Under that paragraph there were two lines, labeled #1 and #2, with a name and address by each.

Most people will react to that in wonder. How can it be? How can I give 1 book and get back 36? But then they’ll think a bit deeper and realize that it works. I give one, the 6 people I send it to give my sender one book each, and the 6 people each of them send it to will each send me a book, leaving me with 36 books! So simple! And they send out a book and fire out 6 emails. It may seem simple but, as we’ve seen, a look at the bigger picture will show that the system isn’t sustainable.

If me, alongside 35 other people, are sending out a book to my sender’s sender (assuming that that person started the chain), and my 6 recipients, alongside 210 other recipients are sending it to my sender (and the other “second stage” senders), then there will have to be 1,296 people sending out to my stage in order for us all to get our 36 books. That may be feasible if I’m only the third one on line to get the email. But what if I’m the fifth? Then there will have to be 46,656 people sending out books. What if I’m the seventh? Then there will have to be 1,679,616 people sending out books. Even if there may be a sliver of a chance of that happening, it would be nearly impossible for them to ever get their return – they would need over 60 million people to participate! And if you get that many people on board, you’ll need 2.17 billion senders to support that number. At the end of the line, a lot of people will lose their investment; the further the end of the line is, the higher that number of people will be. So even if you’re lucky enough to be from the early stages, who might still net in a gullible bunch of 36 book senders, the family member you forward that email to is 6 times more vulnerable to losing out. Multi-level marketing at its best!

And so my fellow Lakewooders, next time you see something that looks suspiciously too good to be true, take a step back and consider that perhaps it just may be so.

It doesn't need to. When your brother in law tells you he can save you money on energy/merchant services/cosmetics, you go with what he's offering.

MLM's are built on people reaching out to family & friends. The trust is already built, and you don't need to have any unique selling proposition.

Among other things such as various ways they can pass through items even when there is a "fixed" price if there are unfavorable terms and conditions.

Which magazine in your opinion is the most picked up/popular (for ads) in lakewood? BP Weekly? Voice of Lakewood or Lakewood shopper? Thanks.
I’ve found that my BP ads reached the most people (and cheapest!) but I’ve gotten unique customers with each publication separately
UPDATE:
I have since found the Clip It coupon card that comes bi-weekly in the back of the BP to be by far the best bang for my buck. Unparalleled direct response from the very first week I advertised with them. No other medium targeting Lakewood came close, print or digital. They're a good fit for DDF too :P

Full disclosure: After advertising (VERY) successfully with them, we have since become affiliated. Feel free to PM for more info.
