Commuting daily to NYC and wondering about parking in Old Bridge and taking the bus from there. Anyone know if you can get a permit if you are not a resident?

״Thank you for your inquiry. However, our parking lots are for Old Bridge Residents Only. You may want to contact Park America 800-523-1026. They are located on Route 9 North and you may be able to purchase a parking permit from them for their lot. I hope that help.”

Anyone use Park America? Any other park and rides around there that are available to non-residents and are cheap?

Did you consider the train from metropark? It's $6 daily parking and $10.75 to penn station in 40ish minutes (much less monthly). A few minutes further from Lakewood, but you eliminate Turnpike and Lincoln tunnel volatility (which has been an absolute disaster lately).

i was aware of that option but the few times I tried traffic on the GSP wasn’t great...if the new traffic pattern you mention continues (hearsay implies it will) Metropark may be the better option. I was unaware about the monthly plan. How much is that?

Why is the traffic so crazy on the turnpike in the morning these days?
