Even the salvage yards dont have it , because they salvage the whole seat not just a part of it

Living in lkwd for over 20 years and JSOR of deal was always considered a top tier hechsher. I’ve been told that recently it has become a problem and that many don’t recommend it anymore. Anyone hear the same?

I am good friends with someone from deal who has told me in the past , that it depends on the Mashgiach.

Speak to the people who actually go into the establishments to check up on them and ask them very detailed questions, specifically if all JSOR policies are in fact implemented uniformly, if there are real consequences when the standards are not met in their entirety if if the establishments are frequently given a pass, and if the mashgiach would feel comfortable eating in each and every establishment. Then you will have the knowledge to make a decision. I have done the above.

It’s been a problem for the past 10 years, recently a new rabbi came in and is slowly turning everything upside down to bring it back to top tier.
