Every single Rav I have spoken to - and I've spoken to quite a few - have all stated unequivocally that everyone should stay home.

People should definitely be asking their own Shaalos. One Rov told me the letter was worded very strongly to discourage people from acting on their own, but people may very well get answers tailored to their situation.

My daughter has a friend who just got married after Purim and was one of the last before they shut down and is making their own pesach.

Interesting data point. An individual (aged 20-35) who was planning to go to their family out of Lakewood for yomtov, felt fine and was going around town as needed. They were tested for covid 19 prior to being involved in a medical procedure (can't elaborate) , and turned up being positive yet with Zero symptoms! (they are now under quarantine.) This is the scary part of the virus. People who feel fine are unintentionally spreading the germs. If this individual would have gone to their family as planned, it could have been fatal to their own elderly/compromised  relatives. For this reason, I totally understand why everyone who goes out must wear gloves and probably a mask. Not only for themselves, but everyone else too.

Some of those lives could have been saved if people would just stay home.
Rav Michel Silber recently said that for the first time we are being tested with the Nisayon of Retzichah - and we are failing!

That was exactly one of points I quoted above from senior medical professionals.
Maybe publicizing this story will get a few more people to take this seriously and save one more life.
