I signed up with NRG Home energy for electric (not gas, because of gas credits), about a year ago with United Mileage Plan sign up bonus (12k, plus 3 times UMP a dollar with the CC), on a 3 month promotional rate and I call up every 3 months to sign up with the 3 month plan. It is by far the cheapest. The longer term options are more expensive, but the promotional 3 month term is great. You just have to make sure to renew it at the right time, so you don't pay their variable rate.

This is what I meant by  If you don't know exactly what you're doing it can cost you way more than you can ever save.

How is T-mobile service in Lakewood in general, and South area near Evergreen in particular?

I have sprint now which works great, and they asked me in store to change to a T-mobile SIM card.
