Wahl magic clip is the one we went with during covid. At the time it was $55 appx, now it's higher. It's paid for itself many times over. Basically, the higher end machines cut the hair much faster and more smoothly. Maybe the blades are better too, as I remember my parents giving me haircuts and feeling as though my hair was being pulled out. I have never had a problem with this model. I have the corded one, probably comes cordless by now too.

I don't know if you already got onto Private Insurance, but if you didn't yet, this is very important: If you want to be eligible for Marketplace Insurance outside the Open Enrollment period, you have to be KICKED OFF of Medicaid, not just go off. That means that you need to SUBMIT income info that is too high, and wait for THEM to remove you. If not, you will not be able to get Marketplace Insurance during this time.

If you already have insurance and you just need to contact Ocean County social services, I've had success by emailing NJFC@ocbss.ocean.nj.us - they usually answer within a day.

I don't think they've been kicking anyone off for the past 3 years "due to the public health crisis".

If you have Jersey Care, there is effectively no way to get a marketplace plan.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

If it's open/special enrollment you can purchase marketplace insurance at full price (no subsidy) and have both
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

If it's for a ticket from Lakewood, I used Leib Klein before and had great results. He's an official public defender here, so he knows all the guys, and he had a very easy time getting a hefty points tickets reduced to a small non-moving-violate fine. Was a real mentch also.

I used him a year or 2 ago. I don't remember exactly, but it was in the $600 range.

Seems a lot of the barbershops coordinated some changes last week. A bunch of them changed to appointment-only and went up in price (many of them $30-40).
Aviel by avenue of the states charges $22-$26

Mine, and many others, experience there is that by the time you walk out of that shop, somehow they charged you $40.
Sometimes they'll say they need to shampoo your hair (won't give a haircut otherwise) and then charge you for it. Or else they'll just say it took a longer than usual so charge more...

Fascinating. I've been going to him for more than 10 years (my kids too) and have never experienced what you're describing.

PM me for info.

Correct.

Maybe if you tell them you moved out of state, they will kick you off.
But simply sending them updated financials will not get you kicked off.
