I have two girls yet one who will still be there and the other is staff who isn't sure yet whether she's staying

From what I gather the gist of it was that the new campus wasn’t ready on time for start of camp. They pushed off camp for a week plus in the hope of getting it ready.Yesterday they tried to start camp by bussing all the girls to an old hotel in the poconos but the luggage, clothes, and food ended up at camp malka. The bunk beds couldn’t be placed in the hotel in time so many had to sleep on the floor, and there was a shortage of food and water.

Askanim worked to get food and water sent in late at night. The number of girls is way over allowed hotel occupancy and after police responded to a late night fire alarm they were ordered to vacate. Some girls were picked up by parents from the hotel and taken home when their daughters called home about the situation. At this time the younger divisions and some staff are now being sent home by the camp.

The whole situation is insane! In 2024 why do you need askanim for food?!? We're not talking about a remote location. Its a quick drive from the tristate area. The camp allowing the girls to get on buses when they clearly knew the camp wasn't ready with no plan is ridiculous. We're not talking about a small tour, we're talking about 500+ girls.

And here we are July 11th (8 months later) something doesn't add up that askanim needed to be involved to get food and that girls didnt access to basic needs.

They were supposed to have a CO in time but something feel through at the last minute so they brought the girls to Pocono resort and got some issues getting food there
