Not really. When people take advantage of free bonuses (which are given away willingly, to entice customers) that's fine. Those are "deals".

Maybe we should all just make sure to spend at least $1000 in overpriced stuff on Black Friday to make sure they made money off the Doorbuster? 

But when I hear stories of how people buy an air conditioner for the summer, and then return it when the summer is over (just before 90 days are up), jokingly referring to Walmart as their "gemach", that makes me cringe. And when Walmart gives me the third degree when trying to make a legitimate return, because "sorry for the hassle, sir, but people in this area have been abusing our return policy" (true story!), that downright pisses me off.

They at least budget for a small percentage of seasonal return. Airlines do not plan for mistakes!

. From what I've heard, walls are paper thin, u can hear everything from next door. And on Shabbos your sorta confined to ws. But apts are vry nice

Obviously as a blanket statement that is not true. But if you say you live there it will definitely raise eyebrows and there might be some explaining to do. 
It was a Yeshivish place 6 years ago but went downhill in a hurry.
Unless things changed, alot of single parents and divorcees and rumors that go along with them living all in one building.

That's why I said "may". Either way,its not that I believe the rumors, but as they usually say, when there's smoke there's fire. I really liked the apartments there, but the building itself is what distracts me. Walking around the building gave me this funny vibe. Though I figure there may be others that have felt just like myself, that have started rumors based on their feelings.

what was bad about the neighborhood that they are not "Yeshivish" or that there are single parents living in the Building?
They are not bad things just not good for getting into School.
And rumors are not more than rumors. I did not imply that anything went on just that people WILL look down on him if he says he lives there.
