I will be in lakewood in a few days and I am looking for a nice restaurant to take someone out. (business). Someone mentioned to me Entree. Has anyone been there?
Entree does not have a large menu, but the food is good.  We were out of town when the new place, Estreia opened up, so we have not tried it out yet.

If its daytime try dairy, Ottimo Cafe. The ambiance there is much better, and suited more to business like.

I've meet with people at Ottimo many times with non kosher eaters and they all loved it. It is a great place for a business lunch. Only problem can be if it is busy with many loud yentas, which does happen.

The following is my review of Estreia Restaurant.

I made a reservation for 8:30 for two. Upon arrival we were seated promptly. The waitress came and brought us some paper menus. I must say that the choices were few. I ordered an Asian steak and my guest ordered a regular steak on the bone. Issue number one, no bread to wash on while waiting for our food. For entrée’s, I ordered some spring rolls. They were quite good. I asked our waitress if we can see a wine list. The waitress informed us that there was no wine in the entire restaurant. I was shocked, as was my guest. I was not expecting this at all, and would have thought twice about coming here had I known in advanced. Another big issue was the time it took to get our food. More than 45 minutes elapsed before our food showed up. Although we had business to discuss, I would have preferred the food to come out earlier. Here’s where another issue arose. The Asian steak was smothered in mayonnaise. I am not sure if this is how it is in other restaurants but nowhere on the menu did it mention globs of mayo on the steak. I was extremely disappointed, as I am not a mayo fan. I somehow managed to eat half of it before calling quits. My guest’s steak did not appear to be anything special. Also, the main dish did not come with side dished! I had to order and pay for fries and onion rings separately! I give the main dish a ‘C’ rating at best.
Finally I asked to see a dessert menu. I ordered a chocolate molten cake with ice cream (for $15 bucks- outrageous). Had it been good, I would not be complaining about the price. It tasted like it had been in the freezer since last pesach. This dessert ALSO took 45 minutes to arrive- totally unacceptable.

In total, my bill came out to $160. For an upscale restaurant this may be normal, but the food and service was terrible. I would not return to this restaurant for a while, and would not recommend it. They need some serious work to really get this place in shape.

I’ve been to 1880 three times so far and although its probably not the kind of place to take someone for a business meeting, their food is really good.
We’ve tried the Portobello Burger, Texas Chile Burger, Roasted Herb Chicken, Prime Rib Steak, Philly Steak Hero and Chicken Neapolitan Hero. (I would order them all again, aside from the Herb Chicken since its not a chicken cutlet…)
The food is fresh and really flavorful. Portions are big and entrees come with sides. I cant comment on the service since we ordered to go every time we were there, but the waiters are all courteous and friendly.
