true except that the same could have been said before they came in as well, maybe even that we were worse off. That is how they got in.

Not true. Before the Finks and the Seitlers came around the same people more or less were there for 10+ years, Grunhut, Gonzalez, ostreicher etc. People complained about taxes and Fink and seitler showed up saying they can get the same services and STILL lower taxes, We could do it better! Turns out they were very wrong.So I don't really get the "we were worse off back then" theme. Could be we had high taxes but at least we got services!
