I was in the James St. FPGS today... Although I usually don't buy any chicken or meat there for multiple reasons, my wife insisted that I pick up a package of Chicken cutlets. What I bothered me was that a decent percentage of the weight is contributed to the juice that the packages were full of. Btw, don't be shocked if you buy yogurts and find 'em spoiled, because I was by the dairy refrigerators and found a case of yogurts just sitting in the isle on the floor without a worker in sight. I stuck my hand in and found that the yogurts were warm already. I also bought a package of rice cakes but those were terribly stale. (That reminds me, I bought bread right after Succos that was stale as well...) I also love that the bottles of Heinz ketchup says three-pack, and the Ocean Spray Craisins say not for individual sale, and cereals...

Correct. However, the place where I usually buy my chicken drains the chicken or trays, at least mostly. There was significantly more juice then what is typically found when buying chicken elsewhere.

I'm not sure where you usually shop, but this is old news. I have found, however, that if you bring the stale or spoiled food back, they'll replace it, no questions asked.
BTW: I've seen cans of formula with stickers that say "for sale by Walmart only"
