For anyone on the fence, I've been to most of the top amusement parks in America. Cedar Point is without a doubt the best of the bunch. You NYers who think Six Flags in Jackson is the ultimate park are in for a pleasant surprise.

Bear in mind, I have not been to CP since 06 and have been to SF a few times since then, and their rides are still not on par with CP. (Not to disparage SF, they do have some awesome rides, but it pales next to CP.)

And you gotta work harder on getting your wives on the rides. It took me a lot of convincing/manipulation to get my wife on her 1st major coaster (I think it was Nitro at SF) and now she can't get enough.

EDIT: I happen to find Millenium Force to be a tad overrated. Top Thrill is amazing IMO.

I'd say it's up there with those.
Haven't been to CP in a couple years though.
CP is never open on Pesach and Sukkos only works if Sunday is Chol Hamoed (This year YT starts on Sunday, won't work out too well either)

I don't know where you came up with that idea? I'm going to attend regardless, but I'm offering to give a customized drasha on Shabbos with a DDF oriented message if I'm given enough time to prepare it.
