Anyone successfully deposited Amex miles into Schwab recently? Been trying to transfer the last couple days and it isn't working for me.
Where did they hide the option? If I can find it, I will give it a try.

Amex officially lowered the rate for transfer to Schwab @ 1.1 on 9/1, but it didn’t go into effect immediately.

if i deposit amex points into schwab account [1.25c pp] are there any tax implications etc on that money ?

they shouldn't because points earned via credit card are considered a purchase rebate and converting them to cash shouldn't change that

You are converting at a higher rate so not sure how they would look at that.

They have not issued 1099's in the past for these redemptions.
