Life hack: many pump urns have a hidden button behind the spout, you can hold a cup there and use it to push the button to dispense water (only on urns that have an option for auto dispense of course). Doesn't help on shabbos but is very convenient during the week.

yep I discovered it a long while after we bought it :)
It's a lot of fun when you're at someone's house and making a drink and you tell them to "watch this trick!"
