From what I hear in the grapevine, not very reliable (unfortunately like most of the new ones that pop up like mushrooms after the rain, to take a piece of the lucrative business of Hechsherim).

Just came up on a Kashrus WhatsApp chat I'm on. After someone pushed to inquire, someone else from a Kashrus organization that excels in transparency, came back with specific stories. He previously refrained from publicizing these, but was compelled after he saw where the conversation and opinions were going. I would say that anyone that cares about Kashrus would consider SKS on a level of Israeli Rabbanut or lower.

My first thought is that it should be okay but I need to think it over, but the double layer would still need that there be no b'en under it lichatchila.

even if it's just touching the dry grate on the other side? Assuming you aren't going to deliberately touch your stuff to the aluminum foil

If you are nopt going to stuff up the grill and titems won't touch then you can leave out the but.

I am a talmid of R' SM Katz and he sends people to me and I have filled in for him in BMG and have a slot answering his phone (although I have taken a break from that this zman)

So what’s your stance on toiveling a Keurig machine? If it does require tevila, what solution do you advise? I’ve never been given a straight answer on this and my wife’s present has been languishing in the closet..

If it's languishing anyways, just toivel it and leave it to dry for a month before using.

Until it's dry.

A week in the sun should do it. If you can, unscrew what ever you are confident you can get back together.

If you're handy, wouldn't unscrewing/taking apart and putting together render the toiveling unnecessary?

There are definitely those who hold that way but I have yet to hear clear delineations of how much taking apart is required.

I heard in the name of R' Elyashiv that no amount of unscrewing renders toveling unnecessary. Unsoldering a connection would. Otherwise breaking and fixing would.

Another talmid chochem told me it's pashut to him that something like an urn would require a hole in the beis kibul.
