what a refreshing misleading practice that is.... Put your symbol on product with no disclaimer and the. Put out a small alert stating that your symbol doesn't cover bedikas toila'im. They did it with frozen broccoli as well.

Every organization has some tolerance level. It’s the educated consumers duty to figure out what that is.

If the hechsher is saying it's not kosher, they shouldn't put their certification on it regardless of what other organizations say.

Why not try to understand why one is giving different instructions than the other? You may discover that one organization has thoroughly researched the issue, and one has not.

I spoke to the head of a heimishe large hashgacha and he said not to use OU strawberries, I'm not taking his word blindly but since I'm no mumcha myself, שב ואל תעשה it is for now. They say that the heimish brand strawberries are going through a washing procedure that the national brands aren't able to follow.
