Just disappointed that there wasn't more L'Maaseh regarding Israeli Hechsherim. Sounded basically that you have to check each product/restaurant/caterer individually which is not so practical...

That is as may be, but the fact is that in EY it carries only Landau lechol hashana and Rabbanut KLP. So no one would drink it without inside information. Maybe in the US it gets an American hechsher on top of it, but there's no sign of that here.
Hence, MG is right. It isn't labeling.

Heard a shiur today in Monsey from R' Asher Eckstein.

He didn't attack any of the national kashrus agencies at all, but clarified and enlightened the crowd about various leniencies that they use in specific different products, which might serve the agencies' stated goals of offering the most kosher products possible, but really shouldn't be consumed by the more frum oilam.

I hope it was recorded.

No. He covered several specific big leniencies that the national agencies use. Among them on fish, pasteurization, hag'ala, juices.
