I have no idea. I was asking and speculating about what potentially could assur oil without a hechsher. You are right that that should be a factor too, it just wasn’t mentioned till now.

Why do you think there is? They don't use a lot of oil in these machines. about a half cup to a cup. The layer of oil on bottom is very thin.

If you were able to ensure no non kosher use for 24 hours presumably any residual non kosher oil would be battul at this point, being that there were multiple batches made with kosher oil by now.
