I don't know what that disclaimer at the bottom is all about.

I happened to pass by an establishment on Bedford Avenue under this Hashgocho on Shavous (place was closed). IIRC certificate said CY, PY, Shutfus Akum (specific establishment was closed on YT).

ETA: If I understand this correctly, he will give a hechsher on a place that is open on Shabbos (presumably with no mashgiach present).
Location used to be open on shabbos until recently

If someone is familiar with the processing of tuna fish can please PM me I would appreciate it. I'm particularly looking for someone who's been to the plants and watched it first hand.

that actually looks like a production I saw recently. Bigger places are more complex   there are many different types of retorts and equipment.  Beyond the scope of 1 post.

@moko or anyone in the hechsheirim business


Around how much would it cost to certify a product that the whole production can be done in ~4-5 hours and can be brought anywhere in NY/NJ area? No cooking needs to be done and one person (jewish) can do it all. This would be a one time run and if the product is successful then more of them would be made.

Or does hashgacha work with just an ingredient list?

The k is very small sometimes unnoticed take another look im sure it's there.

From the CRC:

Unflavored sake is acceptable without hashgacha.
Flavored sake (e.g., Coconut Sake) and sake which
states on the label that it was aged in wine casks
require hashgacha. Nevertheless, due to potential
kashrus concerns, it is preferable to only consume
premium sake labeled as Honjozo, Ginjo, or Daiginjo.

It had some weird hechsher looking symbol on it... Wasn't sure if it was actually a hechsher, and how reliable.

Btw, for some reason my perception is that bottled drinks and sodas are very often kosher without any hechsher visable.
