It is NOT reform. Rabbi Ralbag is a huge talmid chocham, however many of his halachik opinions are not accepted by mainstream poskim.

Calling the hechsher reform was based on unsubstantiated hearsay, and after a mere Google search I retract that.

 •As a kashrus company, their policies are far from transparent and there are several online testimonials of their former mashgichim that denounce the atrocious shechita situation.

 •Objectionable policies include; allowing a factory to make a non kosher run instead of a cleaning cycle between kosher and non kosher ingredients, allowing usage of any vegetable fats, allowing grape products (grape juice) on the basis of "Stam yeinam", allowing ingredients with animal gelatin (glycerin) and more.

 • As a result of the above, mainstream hechsherim list them as not acceptable and should not be relied on.

Regarding fish I don't think we are makpid on bliyous (absorbed taste).

I heard from R' Eli Landau (R' Moshe Landau A"H's brother) that he has separate kelim for fish. I don't know anyone else who thinks it's necessary.

There is a minhag by many to have a fish pot.

It seems that if i would ask my question to a rav who holds that , my question doesn't have much basis and i would need different kaylim when dealing with fish.

Yes, but we do not know of any current sakana-it is "only" from the gemara. There is no reason to be more makpid than they were.

True, but perhaps this minhag of using separate keilim for fish evolved from this sentiment.

Are there any modern day poskim or more recent teshuvos that discuss if there is still an element of sakana today?

Officially Israeli Rabbanut doesn't allow non-CY milk, but does allow non-CY powdered milk.

True for restaurants, but non-CY products sold in Israel are listed as Kosher, while products without supervision must state לא כשר. The label will either say כשר לאוכל חלב נכרי (Haagen Dazs) or כשר לאוכלי אבקת חלב נכרי (Ben & Jerry's).
