OK I misunderstood before. Now it makes sense.
Which hechsher do you mean? It is really strange that they would do that unless they missed a problem  and caught it afterwards .Unless it's a shechita like of yerushalayim that thet can keep shechting even though they don't like the percentage of treifos and send it all to rabbanut.נפסלה לשיווק is usually a term used for vegetables that are  found to have bugs and was possibly misused here.

PSA always double check what you are told by an establishment. A couple of months ago I ordered Uber Eats from a Miami establishment mentioned in the South Florida thread on DDF. Their website said they were Cholov Yisrael and Pas Yisroel but didn’t list their certification. When I checked by phone they told me they were “under the supervision of Rabbi G. as well as Kosher Miami.” I ordered some lunch but when the Uber eats arrived there was some clumsily placed colored tape on the bag that wasn’t really very tamper proof and no Kosher Miami symbol. Suspicious, I called Kosher Miami who confirmed that the Cafe was NOT certified by them and not recommended.

To make sure I hadn’t misheard I called back and again asked the girl who answered the phone who certified them and received the same answer. I told her that Kosher Miami claimed they weren’t affiliated with them and asked to speak to a manager. The Israeli manager first said something about Kosher Miami, then when I said I had checked with KM he obfuscated by saying “we are a kosher restaurant in Miami so what is the problem?
“Rabbi G. a good hechsher and everything is kosher.”

I explained that I only eat KM which is on the CRC recommended list, not a Rabbi I am not familiar with who KM does not recommend and that I ordered based on what his employee told me and now I could not eat the food. He said the food is very kosher, I don’t know what your issue is.

I saw we were going around in circles so I ended the conversation and dumped the food. Lesson learned: don’t take an establishments word for it. If you are ordering for delivery and can’t ask to see the certificate of certification double check with the Kashrus agency.

Rockland Bakery is still representing themselves as being under the chof k on phone and email despite losing their certification around 12 years ago. (They also still show the UKS symbol on their website despite the hechsher having closed a year and a half ago.)

Insider info says "Most of the [chicken] shechita this week was pasuled by the hashgacha." Is this a normal occurrence?

I was in Haker this morning, they said that due to the war, the chickens from Sheairis  were not taken care of properly and had lung issues, so they only had from Eidah

If you hold injections in the leg are a problem then eida chickens are a problem  .(they hold that injections in the chest like shearis or in the wing like landau are a problem)For the past few years they try to bring chickens that have been vaccinated w/o a needle and have days of shechita of only these chickens. In good times this ranges from a few times a week to a few time a month. Many people buy only these either through butchers , self salting establishments,or by checking the date. You can here the date by calling 072-337-2785. Last week, the Mir got only Sholeim, Mechulak and some Knafayim they had in the freezer. Today, they are only managing to get Mefurak. All bets are off on Kraayim and Shnitzel.

I would be surprised if they bother shechting at such a rate. What does it mean the mir got only shaleim? Do you mean the yeshiva or a sale? Is it worth it for them to get only certain parts?Also  the yeshiva sends people to kasher for them so it may be a bit different then regular availability.

He means the Mir's at cost sale to avreichim (or honestly anyone who wants to order through them...its possibly the largest single order of meat/chicken in the country)
Its worth it for who ever ordered it.
Kraayim (thighs) and Shnitzel are two halves of a whole...

And Just to help out those wondering what in the world
Sholeim = Whole chicken
Mechulak = Quartered
Knafayim = wings
Kraayim = Thighs, bottoms
Mefurak = is split chicken parts (a tray of legs, a tray of wings, a tray of tops...)

As for shechting at that low rate - I doubt they would consider it in any other season...
