National Car Rental

I am an emerald club member with national. I usually use emerald aisle, but I will likely need at least a full-size car or a minivan for my upcoming trip. I would like to make two reservations - one for emerald aisle in case there is something larger there and one for a full size or minivan. Has anyone ever tried this before? Did national give you a hard time?

Are you traveling with another driver? If yes just make 1 reservation under each name.

I once went to the "Emerald Aisle" in LAX and there was nothing but minivans- about 20 of them. They let me take a nice Accord from the full size.
