I have the Photon which I love and can be had for $50 with upgrade. It's def not the newest out there.
If you don't want the Evo maybe wait for the Samsung Galaxy S3.

And amazingly enough I think they are going to leave the S3 untouched and not have their own version. Let's hope at least.
 ( I wasn't a fan of the US version that didn't have a physical button)

as of now it shows that there will be a button sprint is holding a s3 event in Boston to show of the s3 so then we will know. All the details

Yeah the button is going to be kept on all US verisons.

 The only thing that could make this phone better would be a a SimCard slot on the Sprint Version.
