There is nothing worth seeing in Brussels

There are no trains that get in for a  6-7AM flight out.

It's at least a 2 hour drive, so once you add in 2 hours minimum getting to the airport before your flight, you're talking about leaving at 2AM - might as well go the night before.

Not if you are in for a wedding.

Brussels basically has very little to see unless you want to see a statue of a boy peeing
+1

What is up with that??

When I went (the week of the 2016 airport bombing) we got stalked and chased by a band of Arabs so it was fun :)

Itís technically not TGV but thalys.

I havenít done it since COVID but pre COVID ID checks were on board of the train. Make sure to be there a few min before as you have to go through metal detectors (since one of the terrorist attacks a few years ago)

Otherwise very nice train and very smooth trip
