I was never much of a hotel person, so I don't have hotel points or certificates.
DW and I decided that next week is a good time for a relaxing getaway. We're going to South Florida for a Sunday night family event, and while I was initially thinking of staying there, the prices and value that I have seen at the JW Marriott or S Regis don't seem to line up with the type of value I was looking for.
I then thought of Key West, but am unsure. I'm open to suggestions anywhere within a flight of up to 3 hours. Kosher food/dining definitely a plus. Main thing is a private relaxing atmosphere with good weather, that won't break the bank (if I can take advantage of $100 off $500 available on 2 Citi cards that would be nice).
If it involves AA flights, it would be nice if I can book today, as it is my last day at Executive Platinum so presumably I still get the complimentary upgrade confirmed in advance).
