If one has no assets, any reason to have more than state minimum?
It's not worth declaring bankruptcy because the damage is a few $k over your insurance coverage. If it's $1m over, you don't really have a better option, but you wan to make sure you have coverage for reasonably likely scenarios.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

my wife was in a no fault accident and the other insurance is fully liable and paying (there was a police report) I didn't tell my insurance about the accident rather went straight to the other insurance should i expect my rates to go up?

They or the other driver may go to small claims.

Any advice:
I have a policy with 2 cars and I pay $900 for two months
I'm trying to add a third car and they quoted 2500
Any idea what's going on?
The first two are over 10 years old, the new one is a 22

Do you have collision and comprehensive on the other cars?

What car are you adding?

Compare each line item on both quotes.

Progressive is sent me an email trying to get me to sign up for an extended warranty. I hate giving my info to random websites but am curious how much it costs and what the benfits are. Has anyone tried it?

Geico raised my rates 3 times in the past 3 years from $700/6 months to $2910/6 months.
2013 Sienna
2021 Palisade
Granted I did upgrade from a 2004 Avalon to a 2021 Palisade, but still....
Same coverage with progressive for $1100 / 6 months
A couple of no fault claims...

My 18 year old daughter just got her license and needs insurance for one month until she goes to seminary.  If I add her to my policy, they will put her on 'away mode' but it will still affect my premium.  Is there a way around this?  I'd hate to pay all year more than I have to so she can drive for one month.

I think they idea is the insurance won't pursue. Again IANAL

If you have no attachable assets, they aren't likely to pursue IMHO. If there's equity in your home, they could pursue. If it's mortgaged to the gills, they might not.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I never needed to do this exactly but with progressive there is an option to remove a driver in the middle of a policy. I have made other changes in the middle of the policy and I got them to refund the difference for the rest of the policy period.

An agent I spoke to today told me that if I remove her from the policy she will be penalized when I put her back on in a year for having a lapse in coverage.
Not sure if progressive has that issue too.

Right. The op asked specifically about someone with no assets

It's probably worthwhile to keep her on as it will reduce her premiums in the future while the cost now is minimal.

Any reason not to do the tracking of your driving for 40 days with gieco to get the 10% discount?
For example I'm on vacation for the duration of the the tracking where insurance is more expensive from where I live. Can they use that against me?

I had it on and got the discount. Though I traveled alot while I activated it. So not to be bothered and change it in the app every day. I went and paused it, stopped the tracking. And put it back on when I came home.
