I've tried, really tried, to enjoy Pardes in Park Slope. It definitely is a foody experience, but I don't love it. I end up pounding their cream fries all meal.

When I was there (IIRC it was a Sunday evening), they didn't have 3-4 of the items I wanted to order from the menu. The stuff I ended up settling for wasn't bad, but I was disappointed they didn't have what I wanted.

Happy Family in Brooklyn has the best Chinese I ever had. Bit of a dump, but I've never gone wrong there.

Dirty Chinese place in Boro Park that looks a bit like a cafeteria? Good food, and not too pricey either IIRC.

Would be cool if someone would gather everybody's reviews/ratings and come up with a top 10 list (#1 being the place most/more DDF'ers liking) for E"Y, [l'havdil] NYC, LA, Miami, etc..

and to have the reviews for each restaurant directly under their rating

and to constantly update as the reviews/ratings come in...

Just sayin'!  ;)
Making a some sort of poll on DDF would be a start.

I cant believe nobody brought up Pardes.
At first I loved it although it did lose its appeal.

Le Marais (Manhattan).  Pepper Steak is about as perfect of a steak as you can ask for, the salad, mashed potatoes or fries that come with it are
Dan you should try there beef jerky... a little pricey but amazing !!

I've tried it.  Good, but way overpriced IIRC.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
