Two of my favorites closed down recently.

The Kitchen Table in Palo Alto and Max & Davids in Elkins Park, PA

The building clubhouse was in was sold maybe the new owner won't be able find a tenant and will invite then back probably not but let's hope

supposedly they raised the rent
hope they also invite them back but the rumor is that they are relocating to a new location

@jj1000: Are you really saying that Prime Grill shouldn't make this list? IMO its top notch. Their aged Angus is superb and, its the only place where I had a very decent Mevushal wine (Barkan special edition for Prime Grill).
Other places that come to mind: Tevere in NYC if you're in the mood of pasta and Turquoise in NYC if you're in the mood of awesome fish!
Barrios Restaurant in Johannesburg was awesome upon opening (about 8 years ago), would actually like to know if they're holding the same standart today.
Memorable dish: Baby lamb spare ribs (entree) in Grill Time in Boca Raton, FL. Practically waited about two years to be back there to be able to have them again only this time I ordered the main course version: Beef short ribs. Equally succulent, they come with wet wipes sachets on the side

Buttery, melt in your mouth delicious. Especially good for when you're in the mood for a nice dinner, but not in a meat mood.

At Turquoise it can be darn good.
I just remembered, another great place is Orchidea in Brooklyn, had the mahi-mahi there (also a fish dish).

its about time miami grill closes. horrible service, they close at 10pm and food  is nothing great. there's not too many restaurants that make it in toronto. even king solomons which was great closed a while ago cuz he wasn't making it.

many times i wana eat late and thers nowhere to go.
I would give you names but they prob all closed by now. I know a new shawarma place opened where hakotel used to be bathurst/steels

the only late place is marky's and its downright terrible

max & David's the entrees were nothing special at all but the wings burgers and fries were great. And they're homemade pareve ice cream, OMG, no1 can come close with they're awesome flavors

the only late place is marky's and its downright terrible

dangerous to eat there, the most dirty place to eat, they only change oil once a month i know for a fact.
