UA award ticket question

If i book an award ticket which is a mixed class, come segments in saver business and others in saver economy do i get to take 2 bags on the economy segmens as well becuase i really bought a business ticket? Is it just the seat which is in econmy or are all the perks of business also slashed? Thanks for the help!

Which perks? You won't get a business class meal in coach because your other legs are in business.

Officially luggage allowance is determined by the most substantial segment, but in practice generally the first leg determines for everything. If you're flying a domestic coach to connect on int'l biz you should get 3 bags.

Yes, you'll get the status of the highest leg for all legs.

If I book a ticket on intl biz with a seven month stopover in EWR then finish the ticket 7 months later to OGG will that leg be concidered intl biz as well?

Not for lounge access IME, but u can generally talk your way in.

I never got why domestic biz is not eligible either way. Have you talked your way in on domestic biz or only in my situation that you started in intl biz?

Too many people in domestic biz. Not that I remember specifically, but I've talked myself into a Delta lounge when flying united w/o any DL status.... It aint too hard, like all other things HUCA (go to another lounge).
