Yeah that's the small regional jet that has tiny overhead bins. I've gotten on with some pretty large carry ons but they were always duffel types. I've never succeeded with a full size wheely

If im flying into lga United into C will TSA just let me go into terminal D to the Admiral lounge?
I understand based on the above that I will need to go through security again.

I've flown into and out of concourse C and accessed the club in concourse D many times.  Would be surprised if it is a problem.

Dont show them any boarding pass, Ive never been asked for a boarding pass when going into an AA lounge except once when I gave it to them when I didnt have my credit card on me.

If you have an Admirals Club membership(comes with executive cc) than just get a gate pass from ticketing. Or book a refundable.
