Wow very informative.

Does such a surgery wear away after a couple years?

Just curious what does such a surgery cost?
I'm assuming insurance won't cover such a thing?

It isn't supposed to but I've heard anecdotal reports of vision slightly worsening after ten years. It's possible to do an adjustment to recorrect.

It cost 2k for both eyes which also includes all follow ups. That's on the cheap end, this Dr does 60-70 of these per month and hasn't raised his price in ten years. Insurance will not cover, they consider it a cosmetic surgery.

I was quoted 7k by another practice. I'm not sure prices have gone down across the board, I think they vary and that's why you should price out multiple practices.
