BTW there are Verizon business plans that offer unlimited data.. May be worth it to check it out, I am on one myself.

Your on a biz plan? Bec this is a bit frustrating bec my wife is also grandfathered in unlimited and now if she want to upgrade she has to give it up and go to 2gb. How do I go about it? Unless I buy a phone straight up and switch it over

Dan, I trust you'll find a loophole in the system to allow to get the upgrade price on a grandfathered plan.. I'm sure there are some and I hope we won't have to wait another year until your upgrade is due... After all, the iPhone 5 is official!

There is no share plan like that for business and the business site says

"Business customers can also subscribe to consumer calling plans, but may not receive all business-related discounts.
Please note: Unlimited Calling & Email pricing plans aren’t eligible for corporate discounts."

Who knows, I'll deal with it when the time comes.

The discount is only on the "data portion" of the bill, so if you have an 18% discount on a 20GB  plan, it would be on the $150 part = not that much (compared to what it was).

I just came from a VZW store and they said the following:

1) "Phone has to be activated before you walk out of the store."
2) You can't upgrade if you are within 30 days of your upgrade date (you used to be able to).

lol, im keeping the secret from my parents (dad doesnt use cell phones - so his upgrades all mine lol) and my wife took my moms upgrade....gotta think big picture dan :-) jk   ur double dipping so ur way ahead of the game
