The options go up to $200 for 30GB shared data (plus $40 per smartphone/ $30 per feature phone). I did find it interesting that all the news sites I saw mentioned a max of 10GB.
Good to know!Link?
Bump. What is your source?
There’s no details just yet on pricing or specific data caps on each plan. The only hint the public has gotten was not from Verizon, but instead from a leaked screenshot of a data usage calculator for families. It goes all the way up to 30GB, which could possibly be the maximum amount Verizon is planning to offer. As far as pricing is concerned, well there’s no question that it’ll be fairly costly, but for families with each member already equipped with a smartphone — which is a continuously growing number, I’d imagine the shared plans will provide some relief in terms of both expenses and billing efficiency.
Found this on Google, don't know if it's reliable...
And the ability to tether (have not gotten a psak yet if foxfi is mutar) is nice
1+ Hope it's true but let's get a link
There's no link - unless you have an employee login for Verizon. But I quoted Verizon, here's a screen shot:https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/4NMHfcxWGPp9k79zqe617Fb0wUB-tX_BSqprOwcc-Hw?feat=directlinkI don't want to put up the whole PDF bec it can prob be traced back to me and I would like to keep my job https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/BqXybF4JRZhhPT9lXhQHU1b0wUB-tX_BSqprOwcc-Hw?feat=directlinkBasically anything above 2gb of data (which costs $60) will be $10 per every additional 2gb of data - if you subscribe to it before you go over. Otherwise it's $15 for every 1gb you go over your allowance. I'm pretty sure you will be able to backdate your allowance - if you're going up in GB's- to the beginning of your current billing cycle. So if your billing cycle is on the 1st, and your allowance is for 2gb, you could 30th/31st to see how much data you used. Lets say you used 5.5gb. You would upgrade to 6gb for $80 and backdate it to the 1st of the month, thereby avoiding $60 in overage charges. What I hope to find out tomorrow, is if it caps out at 30gb, or if there is no cap.

Disregard. It wont make sense. For a few dollars more you get unlimited DSL and you can have all your neighbors piggyback.
No. But that is the reality. How do you say no & not give the passcode if they ask :-(
Can one add a laptop as an additional device? This way one won’t need to purchase internet in the "country" (for all the NYC guys) and just add the bungalow laptop to the plan for $20? Will that work?
Verizon charges extra for a hot spot. At least thats what they told me.
